All You Need is Love was inspired by experience with the wedding industry, where being in love has a price tag! The installation was made out of 1200 flowers which I dried over 9 months. The flowers were half donated from friends and family and half were given to us in exchange for a donation to an amazing food bank charity.

All You Need is Love

Each flower was individually hung in a dark space to dry out. Additional leaves were stripped away and the dried flowers were lacquered. They were then stored carefully between tissue paper ready for installation day.

The installation is centered round the nucleus which slowly fades out to the edge of the piece, representative of a couple and everyone else in their lives. However close, each flower contributes to the whole.
