The contradiction Project
THE CONTRADICTION PROJECT
This project was created for the 100 Day Project in 2018. Each day Hanna posted a different contradiction on Instagram. The project was inspired by Hanna’s own experience when she was challenged for creating a poster for women that was pink. It raised this question…WHY CAN’T I JUST BE A FEMINIST WHO LOVES PINK?
In fact, the more Hanna thought about it the more contradictory positions she realised she held. In a world so obsessed with the binary, wrong or right, good or bad, left or right this project explored the space in-between.
This project created a safe space to have uncomfortable conversations. In doing so we learnt a huge amount about our own and society's unconscious bias. And as you can see… we decided to keep the pink!
